Leveraging decades of experience leading regulatory consulting, certification, education and communication programs for FDA and NSF Interntional, Heather Howell drives operational excellence for HIC's diverse client base.  Heather is a results-driven advisor proficient in medical product regulations, with demonstrated expertise in global regulatory strategy, compliance training, competency assessment, risk communication, and crisis management. Her key achievements include developing and leading some of FDA's most innovative industry education programs (including CDRH Learn and the CDRH Experiential Learning Program); commercializing a global MedTech B2B training program; and building a fully remote Health Sciences digital training platform with eCommerce and SaaS capabilities.  Heather is a visionary executive and strategic problem-solver skilled in optimizing business operations to drive profitability.  As FDA's former Mentoring Champion and a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute, Heather's had proven success building diverse high-performing teams, optimizing performance, managing change and leading organizational transformation. Heather earned a BS in Behavioral Science from the University of Maryland, and Master's Certificates in Project Management and Organizational Leadership from the George Washington University. Heather is passionate about patient safety and improving global human health through increased access to safe, effective medical products for ALL people.
